Barry J. Wishart
Mr. Wishart was admitted to the California Bar in 1981. He received his J.D. from Western State School of Law in 1980. He received his Ph.D in Government from Claremont Graduate School in 1975. He received his M.A. in Political Science in 1967 and his B.S. in History in 1966 from Brigham Young University.
Mr. Wishart has successfully litigated thousands of cases. He has also served as a judge pro tem. He has extensive experience with judges, opposing counsel and has mentored many attorneys.
Prior to practicing law, he served as a Professor at Fullerton College from 1966 to 1980 and also as an adjunct faculty Professor at Cal State University Fullerton.
Mr. Wishart also co-authored two anthologies with Louis Reichman: Modern Sociological Issues and Critical Issues of the 70’s.
Over his career, he has been heavily involved in community service. He was elected to four (4) consecutive terms to the North Orange County Community College District Board of Trustees and served two (2) terms as President of the Board.
He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association; family law section, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
Mr. Wishart currently accepts cases in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties.
